Vintage Japanese silk panel with 2024 beautiful patterns, likely 1950's

We don't know what these beautiful silk panels were for, but 2024 we were glad to see them when given to us by a Japanese friend, who received them from her mother. This is one quarter of what was originally a single long piece of fabric, as the cut edges align. It is one of the two end sections.

It measures 13 1/4" x 54". in very good vintage condition, unused.
