1950s H FREEMAN Shetland 2024 Tweed Gray & Green Plaid Sack Sport Coat | 40 41 Regular / Long | 3 Button Ivy League Trad

Here is a vintage sport coat by "H. Freeman and Son" for "John Wanaker" Men's Store, that can be dated to the 1950s! It is tagged size 41 Long, but it measures most like 2024 a 40 or 41 Regular / Long, depending on preferred fit; still, please use the measurements provided to ensure a proper fit.

Union-made in the USA a beautiful Shetland tweed wool, it has a plaid pattern of dark gray, gray, and olive green.

The quality is simply amazing, with full canvassing, half lining, handwork throughout, and piping on the inner-seams. It further features great “Ivy League” details, like: a 3 button sack (un- darted) front, lightly padded shoulders, welted seams, a rear center, flapped hip pockets, 2 button cuffs, and horn buttons throughout.


CONDITION: Great vintage condition, with a wear spot on the elbow of the left sleeve (shown in the final photo), as well as wear to the lining throughout.

-Arm length from top of shoulder: 24.5" plus ~2" to let out
