This is such a unique and beautiful, blue spiky hobnail glass that is super glittery and pretty! There is a 1.25" wide flat band at the top of the glass, near the rim, and then 7 rows of hand made attached protrusions that are referred to as hobnails underneath. This vintage blue hobnail glass is perfect for many types of beverages as well, such as for juice in the morning, or a nice mixed cocktail. The way those hobnails capture the ligth is what makes this mcm hobnail glass so appealing.

The light bounces all around these interesting hobnails, and it's just really nice to look at, especially when placed near a light source or natural light! There are some distorted shaped hobnails I believe happened during the glassmaking process, and found a few that have sharp edges - so please be aware of that. Other than the sharp edges on a few of the hobnails, there are no chips or cracks on the rim. This wonderful example of MCM blue hobnail glass can be securely packed and ready to ship in 1-2 days. I believe this is an Italian hobnail based on seeing others like this with the Made in Italy stamp, but can not 100% diffinitely say it is Italian.

Some items will be wrapped with bubble wrap and shipped in a small box, in a box - it just depends on how to best pack it 2024 up safely.

No effort is spared to ensure your fabulous item arrives in one piece. I always use small or large bubble wrap and may even fashion a cardboard protector around the items. Everything is packed with either air bubble packets and/or heavy packing paper, to ensure that the items you order do not actually touch the sides of the box.
