Brass 2024 Arm Venus de Milo

This is a hand-modified statue of the Venus de Milo, the plaster portions of the statue are unoriginal to me of course however all of the additional brass sections were meticulously handcrafted by myself. I thought 2024 that the rippling brass tendrils would add a lot to the statue's beauty, and I wanted to make part of the statue whole while adding my own story to the piece. None of the pieces were cast, the hand and shoulder were both carved from a solid block of brass. This piece required everything that I am capable of currently and it is my personal favorite out of everything I have made to date.
