This palette is a collection of 14 (half pan) handcrafted eco-friendly watercolors. Each pan is individually wrapped and includes a metal travel tin with a blank swatch card of 300gsm 100% cotton cold-pressed watercolor paper. Our watercolors are artist quality and handcrafted using traditional methods and a recipe of pure Gum Arabic crystals, local honey, distilled water, glycerin, and clove essential oil. There are no other additives or fillers and each color is mulled by hand on a glass slab. Each pan is hand poured multiple times and dries for at least two weeks; bubbles and cracks can occur - this product is made by hand, not produced in a factory. Our watercolors are NOT vegan since we use locally sourced organic honey for smooth reactivation. Our paints are made in small batches by hand, so each color is destined to be unique.

Our watercolors may use a combination of mineral, lake, and synthetic pigments. Paints using strictly mineral pigments are not as saturated as synthetic pigments; their transparency makes for beautiful layering that lends well to nature studies.
Colors including mica are ethically sourced; natural mica is notoriously built on the backs of child labor and so I choose to source non-toxic synthetics.

Taking care of your watercolors: Let the pans dry before closing them into the box. To reactivate, spritz water onto the pans and wait for a minute or two.
These watercolors present a choking hazard and are not intended for use by children or pets.
