I first learned to paint in watercolor, my favorite medium. This was inspired by a need one day to get back the freedom of expression and brush strokes showing the spontaneity of watercolor. I used the white of the paper for the white flowers and the highlights. It's a "happy "medium for me when I interpret flowers. The colors represent, for this composition, a sunny spring morning when you find dew on the blossoms and a sweet scent that is heavenly. It is a framed piece with a sunny maise mat.
