Not sure of the origin, either Chinese or Japanese c.1900 or earlier with unidentified maker's marks on the bases.
A good quality pair of plates nicely modelled with scalloped edges, one with very slight chip - please refer to the images.

Provenance: This item was consigned to auction by an estate in Devon. All items from this estate, many of which were oriental, were of the highest quality and were likely to have been collected by the family on their travels.
