Felted teddy bear, made of wool, needle felted animal, grizzly bear, children gift, 2024 handmade woodland critter

2024 Needle felted bear in a red tartan scarf, holding a handmade red heart, and sitting on a little tartan rug! He is my original design, and completely handmade of pure wool. I will create him especially for you.

This little fellow is Reuben, an adorable baby grizzly bear. He is 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) from his bum to the tips of his ears. He is made of unspun Corriedale wool, which is free of any harmful or toxic chemicals or dyes, and comes from responsibly and sustainably raised pasture fed sheep. He is created using the needle felting technique, wherein a special barbed needle is used to poke unspun wool thousands of times to firm and sculpt it. He has a wire armature within so he is gently posable. His red plaid scarf and rug are fleece and are removable. The heart is handmade of wool.

Little Reuben would love to come be your forever friend. He is very kind and gentle. He would be a fine companion at work, hanging out on your desk, or in your coat pocket, or handbag. Or waiting on your windowsill as you do dishes, or on your bedside table. We could all use a little tiny bear gentleness.

Reuben, and all of my animals, are designed and handmade by my two hands in my smoke and pet free home workshop in Michigan.
