Up for sale is a very nice stormy seascape painting by listed Brooklyn artist, George Seidman (1898-1973). He is listed in Davenport's and other artist directories and has a number of auction sales. This piece depicts a sail boat in some choppy waves approaching the shore. I love the detail on the waves and clouds. Very cool piece by a well-listed and talented artist. The painting is oil on artist board. It is framed in a nice white wood frame. Signed by the artist at lower right and stamped on verso. I'd likely date this painting to the 1960's.
