About the piece:
The feather boa kelp used in this piece was found washed up on the beach in Monterey California in June 2022. This is my first successful attempt to press this species of kelp! Due to the thickness of the kelp my previous attempts didn't dry fast enough. Currently, this is my favorite framed press I've made so far!
