"Class II", "Salter's Improved Circular Spring Balance". "To weight 30 Lbs.
by ounces". "Each 10 Lb is marked on the slide". "The intermediate weights
on the circle". "Salter's", with braided fishermen's rope insignia at the bottom. Brass front, iron parts,original iron metal chain and bowl. Old and aged, decorative iron dial is a nice touch.

Scale measures; 11" length x 4.25" width. Bowl is 11" width. This is not a
pocket sized as some are. Scale, chain and bowl weighing over 4 Lbs.

In good condition as shown with aging to all metal & brass parts. Original
chain & bowl which is rare. Scale appears to be off at the dial as shown, will
have to make adjustments. Looks like a repair was made to the front of the
brass plate at some point. Good, solid and heavy weighted.
