Members of the modern art group The Seven and Five Society the pair popularized linocuts as a printing method. The book serves mainly as a vehicle for their linocuts which demonstrate artistic interpretations of geography and history alongside text. Both text and images are printed in a striking blue. Presumably published around the same time as the companion book, A Little Bit About Art, which was issued in 1938 for The Orthological Institute in Cambridge.
