White Knight 2024 Philodendron

White Knight Philodendron
White Knight Philodendron is a striking climbing houseplant. It sports lovely, white-variegated foliage and has an easy-care nature. Traditionally a hard-to-find houseplant, it's relatively slow growing thanks to its leaf pattern. The more variegation, the slower it grows as there's less chlorophyll to convert light into energy for the plant to grow.

When young, White Knight Philodendron makes for a lovely desk or tabletop plant. As it matures, it begins to vine up and is better used as a floor plant. Like many of its relatives, White Knight Philodendron will sport much larger leaves if you grow it vertically. For a more dramatic plant, train it up a totem, wall, or other structure and give it warm, bright conditions.

As is the case with many other Philodendron varieties (including popular Pink Princess Philodendron), each leaf on White Knight is different. One leaf may come out with little to no variegation and the next leaf may emerge with little to no green. It's all part of this indoor plant's charm!

Please give at least a week for your product to be delivered. If your plant is delayed and arrives damaged, you must provide me with several detailed photos of the damage within 24 hours to place a claim (please see the shipping details section of the item description for more details)! I also highly recommend including a heat pack with your purchase to best protect your plant in case of delay if temperatures in your area are predicted to fall below 32 degrees.


Plant Care:
These plants require bright, indirect light for most of the day. These plants can tolerate some direct light, but should be filtered to prevent any leaf burning. These plants can be susceptible to root rot and should be planted in a well draining soil mix in a pot with a drainage hole. Allow plant to dry out before watering. Humidity can be provided to encourage faster growth, however, is not required for plant survival.


Shipping details:
Plants will be shipped without a pot and either bare root or root with some soil. A pot is NOT included. Plants 2024 will be shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays. Some leaf yellowing or droppage/breakage is normal post shipping, as shipping is very stressful for plants. Please note that it could be 7-14 days until a plant ships, depending on conditions as well as the status of the plant (if a plant was just watered, it will need to dry before shipping). If you have a specific date you would like a plant to be shipped, please reach out! If you would like to a request a different shipping date, I require at least 24 hours notice prior to scheduled date. Please make sure you are home to receive the plant at time of delivery and unbox immediately. Also please be aware of your weather conditions when purchasing, and I recommend adding a 72 hour heat pack and/or thermal wrap to your order if temperatures in your area will be below 40 degrees. I cannot be responsible for shipping damages done as a result of weather conditions, so please be aware of your weather when purchasing. The plant will be secured to the inside of the box to avoid any shaking during shipping.  

All plants ship USPS. I pack all plants thoughtfully and exactly how I would want to receive them myself. Unfortunately, shipping is out of my control, and once a plant leaves my care I cannot be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of USPS handling or delayed packages. Damages as a result of USPS are covered under insurance and I am happy to walk you through the process of placing an insurance claim. Please note this must be completed within 24 hours. 

*****NEW USPS POLICY UPDATE!!!!!!******* Please be aware that you MUST KEEP YOUR DAMAGED ITEM to show proof of damage to your local USPS to place an insurance claim. This is a new policy. A refund will not be provided without proof of damage brought to your local USPS hub within a certain time-frame (USPS will send a letter providing you with more info after placing a claim on USPS.com). I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this process!

Refund policy:
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. A refund will NOT include shipping, as this is a separate cost. Refunds will ONLY be considered if you provide an UNBOXING VIDEO and send it to me within 24 HOURS of arrival. Unboxing videos can be sent my email: [email protected]. Please send me a message alerting me if you are sending a video. All plants are inspected, cleaned, and treated before they leave my care. However, accidents do happen and pests are a reality. If your plant shows up with pests, a full refund will be issued provided that the plant is shipped back to me in the condition it was sent. By purchasing a plant, you are in agreement to all terms written above.
