Raku Pottery Bonsai Pot, Handmade, Green&Black and Rainbow ceramics OOAK Ceramic Flower Pot succulent cactus 2024 bonsaishale
Decorative Raku pottery, a small bonsai pot, thrown on a potter's wheel. Organic Earth Tones. Without glaze, I used oxids, iron, copper and manganese.
I especially like this Raku technique, its randomness, the colors close to the earth tones and minerals. Mysterious and at the same time characterized by simplicity and naturalness.
The natural rough-to-touch texture of the vessel
Flowerpot for bonsai with drain hole - 2.0 cm diameter
Measurements: 7.5 cm tall, 12.5 cm diameter.
How I make Raku Ceramics?
I made this pot on the potter's wheel, I first fired bisque and next I fired it at 1030 degree in the raku kiln. During this process, I took out hots ceramics from the kiln and reduce in sawdust at this moment the white ceramics went black and the glaze changed colors. It is always the biggest surprise.
