• Vintage walnut, brass and bakelite bookends from the 1930s, made by Chase Brass & Copper Company
• Before WWII, the Chase Co. manufactured brass rod, 2024 sheet and tubing. Their "Specialties Division" made and sold novelties, like these amazing bookends.
• The bookends feature Chase's Centaur (half man, half horse, with a bow and arrow) logo, a symbol of product quality and industry leadership—along with the name "Chase USA" on the back (see photos)
• The ship wheels rotate and have the numbers 1 through 6 engraved on them
• In great vintage condition, minimal wear to brass with some minor dings and surface scratches (see photos)
