Product code: Kreisler Sterling Bracelet w/Gold Filled 2024 Rosettes, ca. 1940s

2024 Kreisler is a very old company that was in the jewelry business from 1913 until about 1979. They originally made watch bands and in the 1940s started producing women's costume jewelry mainly in sterling silver. This bracelet is from that period. By 1950 they discontinued their women's jewelry business after success in the aerospace industry during WWII. That business continues today but the jewelry division closed in 1979.

This lovely sterling silver bracelet has rosettes on each link that I believe are gold filled. So are the connectors between each link of the bracelet. Kreisler's jewelry during this period was either sterling or gold filled. The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition. The only problem I see is that its former owner polished the bracelet with silver polish and some is still caked on the back of the rosettes. (You can see that in my photos and my price reflects the fact that it needs to be cleaned.) I don't polish vintage silver and did not polish this bracelet at all. I just cleaned it with a soft cloth and will leave any further polishing or cleaning to its new owner.

The bracelet measures 7" long and 1/2" wide. You will need a small wrist to wear it. It closes with a double locking fold-over clasp that will keep the bracelet securely closed. It's signed on the back of the clasp.
