I bought this a few years ago on the DBNY site (Discounted Brand Name Yarn) site. The yarn manufacturer was not disclosed on this, but they often dealt with brand names like Quince, Rowan 2024 and Shibui, so one way or another this is good stuff. The color is an interesting heathered blue with a slight touch of plum/purple. Always stored in air tight boxes. 20 balls total, so easily enough for a sweater or more.
