A lovely children's antique book, The Golden Rock by Ernest Glanville.

Published in 1895 by Chatto and Windus.

Rough cut thick pages with a black and white frontispiece by Stanley Wood, the book has the original tissue paper to the frontispiece.

It is is a hardback book with green cloth, coloured pictorial embossed boards.

Attractive patterned end papers.

Condition:
It is in good used condition overall, no dust jacket, general signs of use and reading, fair amount of page tanning commensurate with age, slight weakness of the text block and some crushing of the spine ends and lightly bumped corners.
