Up for sale is this iconic woodblock print, "Misty Moon at Kiyomizu Temple," by Benji Asada. This print was produced in the 1950's and is probably Asada's best work. Print is framed in a thematic period bamboo wood frame. The print is in excellent condition. One very minor spot of toning at upper right, just to the right of the temple's spire. Otherwise 2024, no issues. Frame shows some minor scuffing consistent with age. Please see the photos. Visible area of the print measures approximately 13.75 inches high x 9 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 19 inches high x 14 inches wide.
