This is a lovely bold and blue brimmed hat from the 1950s. It is made out of a felt material with a bit of a mohair-type texture, and in an eye-catching shade of cerulean blue. The brim is decorated by feathers, also dyed blue, and painted with black and white polka dots. For a bit 2024 of contrast, a purple, satin bow dons the center of the hat with a petite rhinestone embellishment.

Feather and bow are in fantastic shape as well as the structure of the felt.
The hat does have some uneven coloration, which I presume is from dirt so I would recommend even taking it to a dry cleaners.
The veil is practically in tatters and I would advise removing it altogether. However I have left it on there, as it is original to the hat. I always leave the removal of veils to the discretion of the buyer.
