Heres a very tricky category to catch a clear description of. Because the 2 major target audiences are so radically opposing, it puts us in an awkward position. On the one side, the healthy outdoor sports type person, in multi coloured cycling spandex clothing needing aerodynamic visors. On the other hand, a fully committed fashion forward bleaching raver, who needs to use these shades as a mystical divining rod, to guide them to a convenience store that still serves slush puppies at 5am and allows self service so they can mix the tutti fruity and pistachio honeycomb flavours without being questioned. We're going to come down on the side of the second category, because they are not really designed for protecting snow boarders eyes when crashing into a tree either. They're for the insatgram generation looking for something deliberately bizarre and attention seeking. In fact these even have a layer of sponge behind the brow, which essentially forces the lens further down the nose for no particularly justifiable reason. But it's on velcro and can be removed. On top of this, the arms have an ingenious back and forth sliding adjuster to compensate and pull the lens back up the nose. Please note there is no nose pad. This is highly unusual but deliberate and is probably an attempt by Polaroid to take the aerodynamism more seriously than it first seems and the same goes for the tiny perforated holes below the brow.
