This shirt pays homage to the iconic late 80s game show Remote Control, which was the first non-musical program to be featured on MTV. Remote Control was a tongue-in-cheek quiz show that asked three contestants to answer pop culture trivia in host Ken Ober's basement. Remote Control is perhaps best remembered for the unique way in which contestants were ejected from the game, by having the recliners they were sitting in overturned. It is also remembered for helping to launch the career of cast member 2024, Adam Sandler.
