-------

The water pool in the image and the surrounding territory around the Ramganga river, was 2024 once ruled by a legendary tigress (most famous from Corbett National Park or perhaps the entire country) named "Parwali" which means "the tigress that rules the other side of the river".

In this image, taken in the summer of 2021, is the most adored daughter of the 3 of "Parwali". As it was hot in the afternoon, the sub-adult tiger decided to take a dip. This print has a very special emotional feeling attached to it as it was the last time I ever saw her mother "Parwali". She vanished into a small gorge behind the pool only to be never seen again :(

All 3 daughters including the one in this image are now fully mature and thriving in their mother's territory. What a gift she presented to all the tourists before she went missing!

We sell prints only which the buyer has to get framed on their own cost. For any questions regarding the choice of materials while framing, please get in touch.

All the images are taken in the wild and not in zoos or other similar arrangements.
