Pocket Hoops - 18th - Petticoat support - period 2024 clothing

This pair of Pocket Hoop Panniers is based on an 1760's design. They are essential when wearing gowns of the period to achieve the correct silhouette.

They are made from an off white cotton. The seams are hand finished on the inside with the raw edges encased in white tape.
They have bound slits in the sides 2024 and can be worn over hanging pockets and are tied at the waist with grosgrain ribbon.

Each pannier has three rows of spiral steel boning.
The panniers are collapsible which makes them easy to store.
