Antique 1921 The 2024 Boston Cooking School Fannie Farmer Cook Book Illustrated VG++

Excellent condition Antique Hardback Cook Book. Fannie Merritt Farmer originally published in 1896. It was notable because there was a more rigorous approach to recipe writing. In her preface Ms Farmer stated:
It is my wish that it not only be looked upon as a compilation of tried and true recipes, but that it may awaken an interest through its condensed scientific knowledge which will lead to deeper thought and broader study 2024 of what to eat” One of the first cookbooks where calories were considered as part of a diet.
