Whiskey tasting board designed to keep the bias out. Made of exotic osage orange, this beautiful board raises the experience of your whiskey tasting. Two liquid chalk markers (provided) write on the reverse side of black arcylic to document the whiskeys poured. Flip the insert panel over to the A/B/C/D side to hide the whiskey name or type. Once the tasting has completed you can flip the board over for the reveal.
The four round pockets measure 47mm diameter, perfectly sized for the official glencairn glass.
The A/B/C/D letters are tinted white epoxy, sanded perfectly flush with the wood.
Four rubber feet lift the board up to protect your dining surface.
The insert is black acrylic, engraved with a/b/c/d to ensure you've flipped the panel over properly. This surface is glossy and wonderful to write on with liquid chalk.
Two Kalmar liquid chalk markers (6mm tips) come provided. These markers write bright and cleanly, and wipe clean with a paper towel--even after drying.
The board is finished with safflower and hemp seed oil which brings out the incredible figure of the wood. A polish of food-grade wood wax is then added.
