Hand carved "Sperm Whale" in a battle with a Giant Squid made from wood that came off an 80 year old Florida boat house in Cortez Fla that I repaired 2024 (also with hand carved teeth). This Whale is a brown/gray coloration that measures 20" long X 7" tall and with the hand carved squid it's 11 1/ 2" tall. The squid can be easily detached for packing and shipping. The piece has a large saw tooth hanger on the back and signed by me . It is ready to hang in the office , den , living room or a child's room. I have applied 2 coats of Spar Urethane for protection so the carving can be put out on a patio .
The Sperm Whale must dive from 1300 ft to 3000 ft to hunt for its favorite meal the Giant Squid.
If you may be interested in a Whale that is larger, smaller, facing left or right and a different color please let me know . I hand carve all my own pieces and paint them.
* Please help protect our Oceans and their inhabitance before its to late. The Sperm Whale you see pictured in my listing was found this year in Key West FL and its cause of death was ingesting rope and a large plastic bag.
