Blue 2024 Butter Dish and Cover

This is a textured rectangular 2024 butter dish and cover. But the character comes from the cut out bottom rim of the lid and the natural wood handle. The wood is attached with waxed twine through holes of the ceramic lid. I added glue to add stability to both ends of the handle. Both the lid and dish have the same texture and royal blue and green glaze. The edges have gold gilding lightly swept across them. The set is food safe and easily washed with warm soapy water.
