The Megalodon 2024 was an enormous (60 foot?) species of shark that roamed the oceans millions of years ago, taking on huge, vicious whales and other sharks without hesitation. Their massive teeth and powerful jaws meant that nothing else that swam the seas could consider itself safe -unless the water was a little cold. Apparently, Megalodons did not like chilly water.
My version of this fussy behemoth is carved from rescued oak, stained, painted in acrylics, and protected with clear spray. He measures about 10-1/2" long and 8-1/2" high by 4-1/4" wide at the pectorals. Mounted to a poplar base, he is dated and initialed by myself.
Appropriately stocky and fierce looking with just the barest hint of temperature trepidation in its eyes, this is surely as accurate a representation of this gone giant as there is to be got.
