This vintage wind chime is from the 1970s and was handmade by Elmer and Loretta Gatti. It is made of clay and is painted light blue with a hand painted blue sunflower on the front. There is a leather loop for hanging that goes all the way through the bell as well as a clay disc and copper flag at the bottom. The wind chime makes a wonderful sound when the wind blows!
The bell is about 9.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide, the entire windchime is about 28 inches in length with the copper flag stretched out straight. The wind chime weighs about 1.3 pounds.
This wind chime has sat outside in the past and does show some wear from the elements. There are marks in many places on the outside, as well as on the bottom edge of the bell. There are some dirty spots as well as spots where the light blue paint is wearing off. The leather strap is not original, and was recently replaced, so it is in great shape. The copper flag is meant to be bent any way the owner wants so it shows folds and tarnish.
