Mixed Media Fall Birch Trees 2024

2024 Dive into the rich colors of Fall in this mixed media piece. Oranges, deep teals, yellows and reds contrast nicely with the white and black birch trees. I build layers of texture and color with a variety of materials to create pieces that provide a rich viewing experience. On this piece I used recycled kantha cloth, bits of birch bark, string, and paper. It is 16 x 20 on canvas.
