2024 French antique footed tureen / soupiere with ornate handles, circa 1900.
A delightful antique tureen with a lovely aged colour, a creamy off white. It is very beautiful and would look great in the centre of any table. Originally made for serving soup, it would have had a lid but that has now disappeared as is often the case. There are many possible uses, t could serve as a fruit bowl and is a very attractive piece. The handles are very ornate and give it a certain elegance..
In good antique condition, with minor signs of age and wear, no cracks or chips.
A wonderful piece, becoming increasingly difficult to find, and would look great in any setting.
