Are you thinking about getting married in fall? These are the number one stefana that will match not only your wedding dress but also the church decoration, your bouquet and the whole ambience of the season!
This pair of handmade stefana is beautifully decorated with ornaments in the fall colours and should you be a little bit of a hawk-eyed person you will see that these fall stefana are decorated in such a way, exactly as the season goes!
On their base the stefana, little white gypsophila buds are placed in pairs of two, while the gap between each pair and the next one little rhinestones radiate some type of luxury and glamour, yet in the most discreet way. Moving to the frontal part, the pattern is enriched with porcelain flowers and leaves in the fall colours, meaning beige and brownish, symbolizing thus the transition from one season to the other. On the flower pistils small rhinestones substitute the original kernels. Every little flower is carefully placed on a silk lace folded into a loose knot.
All the ornaments are intertwined on the stefana with silk thread. The latter is covered with ivory silk ribbon.
On their base, the stefana are united with a white satin ribbon, exactly as the lives of the bride and the groom on their wedding day.
The stefana come in pair (as seen in the HQ photos (distant and close-up)) and inside a beautiful box (25Χ25Χ4 cm/ 9.8x9.8x1.6"), white or beige according to the stefana colour. The box is made of paper and lagged with fabric on the inside, while on bottom right it is decorated with the enterprise initials.
OUR NOVELTY(!): The box apart from the stefana includes two small buttonnieres for the groom's and his best man's lapel. The buttonnieres are a miniature of the materials used for the stefana. And now the best part: They are FOR FREE!
Following the whole mindset of the Greek Orthodox Church, the Stefana represent the lives of the bride and groom and therefore every pair of our stefana is carefully designed and crafted with love and excitement, bound with our best wishes for a great new life. Just like their lives which were separate and now unite, the stefana are as well “united” by the priest in one, from that moment on and are meant to stay as such forever. The Stefana are blessed during the wedding ceremony and according to the tradition are preserved afterwards in a framework above the newlyweds' bed.
