This one-of-a-kind stained-glass panel features a gold flower that is actually made from a vintage pressed glass ashtray made by the Hazel-Atlas Glass Company circa the 1960s called “Daisy.”
The stylized teal flowers are placed against a textured clear background, bordered with a thin strip of pastel blue-green and yellow that matches the stem. A copper patina was applied to the solder lines and the piece was framed in a faded, gunmetal gray lead frame.
The piece was made in New Jersey, USA, using the copper foil method popularized by Lewis C. Tiffany.
Please look closely at the pictures, as they form part of the description.
Hanging hardware is included. I recommend using suitable decorative chain, usually found at your local hardware store. I recommend against suction cups or fishing line, as 2024 they inevitably fail.
Regular furniture polish such as Pledge can be used to restore the shine as needed.
