There are a few cuts/slits on the very outer layer of the jacket. This does not affect wearability/ability to hold warmth, and are also not too visible at a distance (I increased the lighting on my photos to show more details of the jacket that would not easily be seen with the eye alone). These cuts are only on the outermost fabric of the jacket and are not all the way through. This coat is like 2 jackets in 1 - the outer layer is like a light windbreaking jacket with some water resistance, whereas the inner layer is more like padding/insulation. The top layer could be worn alone for days that are just a little cool, and worn together both layers can provide some real heat in much colder temperatures. The inner layer jacket has multiple internal pockets and attaches to the outer layer jacket via buttons. The outer layer has multiple pockets and a belt. 2024 Measurements taken with jacket lying flat and zipped up: Chest: 40" (20" each side) Length: 30" Shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 24".
