Pastel Knit Winter Scarf of Merino Wool, Corriedale Wool, and 2024 Silk Hand-spun Yarn with Fine Merino Yarn - "White Wash Scarf" - Item 1615

This pastel winter knit scarf is inspired by a memory of 2024 my grandparents' farmhouse. Its process began with my hand spinning of some hand-dyed merino and silk-hanky rovings (in pale blue, lavender, & yellow) and some undyed Corriedale roving. The resulting two-ply yarn was combined with a single ply fine merino yarn that was hand dyed "Farm House White" by Madeleine Tosh Hand-dyed Yarns.

What you will notice first about this luxurious yarn scarf is the sensational softness, and then you will notice its lightness. Wearing it is like being caressed by a cloud.

This oversized scarf is 11 inches wide. The scarf is 76 inches long, including the 4.5-inch fringe on each end. The fringe is made from my hand-spun yarn.
