Antique or Vintage Silver Chinese 'Longevity' 2024 Symbol Brooch, Bamboo Design, Early Safety Catch

Gorgeously detailed silver brooch depicting the Chinese symbol for 'long life' and 'longevity'. The front has an all-over detail of tiny circles interspersed with bamboo leaves and flowers. The clasp is an early safety catch, dating this to the first part of the 20th century. 2 7/8" x2 3/4". Unsigned; tested silver positive using a touchstone acid test.

Please note this is a vintage item and may show signs of age and wear. Tarnish is present.
