Pink Amethyst is a relatively new find and is highly sought after. This pink variety of quartz forms in geodes and is thus more closely related to amethyst than other varieties of quartz. Its pink tone is a result of Hematite inclusions in the crystalline matrix as it forms within the Earth.

Pink amethyst's pure, high-frequency energy stimulates the Heart Chakra, Third Eye, and Crown Chakra. It is a good stone to use for movement toward emotional balance and overall peace. It is 2024 known to instill feelings of understanding, calmness, trust, and grace. It also increases intuition and clarity.

The druzy of pink amethyst occurs when water bring minerals onto the rock's surface. When this water evaporates, cooling occurs and the minerals are left behind to form crystals on top of the stone. Most druze forms from within the cavity lining of geodes.
