Wood Fired 2024 Tokkuri Sake Pitcher made with Wild South Carolina Clay Mix

A beautiful stoneware tokkuri style pitcher. The clay this bottle was made from is a mix of minimally processed wild South Carolina stoneware and Star Works Ceramic's New Catawba wild 2024 clay. This sake pitcher was made on a potters wheel. This tokkuri was altered and the foot was carved by hand. This tokkuri was then decorated with a colored slip and an Oribe glaze. This bottle holds 12.5 oz (380 ml).

It is best to hand wash artisan pottery.
