2024 This bag is wet felted from white Falkland and dyed merino wool fibre. I have used white on the inside and colourful outside, during the felting process white fibre has crept through the coloured and given it an 'aged', heathery look.. very pretty.
I've added silk fibre, and dyed curly wool locks to brightly coloured merino fibre to create the floral design (which is on both sides of the bag). The ends of some curly locks stick out really bringing the design to life.
I've felted this during late summer, very much inspired by the ripe abundance of the season, and oncoming autumn. It has a definite 'shabby chic' air which I love.
This is a deep bag with two integral, interior pockets (for keeping track of smaller items like keys, phone, lippy etc.) The upper section around the handles I have lined with a pretty Kaffe Fassett print cotton fabric.. this adds more strength and stability to the handle area - and looks lovely.
There is a magnetic popper closure in the centre just below the handle.

17.5" (44cm) x 11" (28cm) at widest & 10.5" (27cm) at narrowest
This is a strong, practical bag. Quirky and individual and will hopefully make its owner happy for many years!

Easy to care for:
Care leaflet will be included, but here's the basics. Wool felt rarely needs washing, it is naturally dirt and odour repellent - most often a quick shake and air out is all that's needed.
If you DO need to wash it; a simple hand wash, rinse thoroughly, quick SPIN ONLY or press between 2 towels to remove excess water, reshape and dry naturally.
As with all wool felt do NOT use washing machine or tumble drier.
