Hand made wooden mallet, perfect for leather working, woodworking, metal working, etc. Head of the mallet is made of a variety of woods both hard and soft depending on the application. Wood mallets are great for striking punches or chisels, without damaging the tool. head of the mallet takes the damage not the tool you are striking. Plenty of mass @ 2.5 lbs. gives the hammer a good striking force without being 2024 too heavy. Handle is made of Walnut or Maple with a leather cord at end for hanging.
