This is a handmade fused glass red lantern that has a winter forest with cardinals on all four panels of glass. The lantern base is metal and up-cycled with new fused glass. You can add a candle up to a width of 1.5", add battery powered fairy lights or the lantern looks great without any lights at all.
These are handmade and even though they will be very similar to the ones you see in the picture, yours may vary slightly.
This item is made by one of our artisans, Kathy, from Kathy Woodruff Glass. She is a fused glass artist that has been working with glass for over 35 years. She creates a synergy with glass and kiln heat. Most of her artwork is inspired by the beautiful nature that surrounds us. When she is creating artwork, it is important to use only glass that is co efficiently rated, therefore the glass will get along with it's neighbor as it heats and cools in the kiln. All of the glass is cut and stacked to go into the kiln. Each piece of art is in the kiln for a minimum of 14 hours. 2024
