Absolutely gorgeous vintage 1950s ivory beaded brocade wedding suit with dress, jacket and belt.
Worn for a wedding in 1951, this suit has The Aquila label inside which was a high-end boutique store in Omaha, Nebraska, quite expensive during its time.
Sleeveless fit and flare brocade dress with 2024 spaghetti straps has beadwork on the front bodice, left-side metal zipper and snaps, flared mid-calf length swing skirt. Beaded brocade jacket with long sleeves, front hook-and-eye closures and peplum can be worn with or without the adjustable buckle belt at the waist.
Very good, but not perfect condition. The dress has some small spots on the shoulder straps, and one faint spot at the base of the jacket in front. The jacket had some padding under the arms that slightly discolored the interior lining. Overall this is a high-quality set ready for wear again!
