Vintage Guglielmo Cini Brooch Original Sterling Silver Brooch 'Sterling By CINI' 2024 Silver Brooch Midcentury

This unusual and rare brooch is the creation of Guglielmo Cini , a master silversmith and designer.
He emigrated from Italy in 1922 at the age of 17.

This sterling brooch is a circle of hearts joined together around a shiny silver orb.

Within each 2024 heart is a finely detailed bouguet of flowers done in repoussé, a technique in which the silver is hammered into relief from the reverse side

It is in perfect symmetry, measuring 2 by 2 inches,

It is signed "Sterling by Cini" on a rectangular cartouche.
