The dust jacket shows some light shelf and storage wear this past 41 years. (Please see photos #1 and 2 for the front and back). The binding is tight, and the pages are clean, crisp, and free of writing or tears. ****There are a couple of paper stains in the book from where the previous original owner must have kept a bookmark and papers. (See photos #9 and 10). If not for those couple of stains that give it character, this book is in excellent condition.
This tormenting story is one that still haunts New York and New Yorkers today, and it is one that should not be forgotten. This collectible book would make a nice addition to any home library! It also would make a great gift!
