This is a high quality slab of Larimar, featuring one side with deep to sky blue botryoidal bubbles. This piece has no green, and only a very small amount of matrix near a couple of the edges.

One to three pieces could come from this slab, depending on how much bubble each piece gets. A single large cabochon would work very well. The patterns should lend themselves well to your style of doming or shaping.

This is the exact piece you will receive. This piece was photographed wet to show the stone's true color. The photos are unaltered except for cropping; these are the true colors of this Larimar as captured by me with my camera.

Notes on Assessing Larimar Quality and Desirability
There is no formal grading system for Larimar so I do not apply the "A" system rating to Larimar.

There is an informal system in which the deep blue color is the most desirable color, followed by the sky blue, then white, especially intricate webbing and chatoyancy, then green, then the common reddish-brown matrix. The distinct bubble-like "botryoidal" pattern is my personal favorite characteristic.

Some Larimar has red "plume" hematite matrix, a distinct red color apart from the purplish volcanic matrix. I think the red plume looks nice, but I neither value nor devalue the Larimar by its presence.

The beauty of Larimar is really in the eye of the beholder. Some like the deep green parts, some like the deep blue, some like it all.
