Beautiful antique copper bottle holder for a magnum sized wine bottle decorated in Regency style. The reticulated gallery has two brass handles (with a copper ring) in the shape of a lion's head. Made around 1920 in Sheffield, England.
Not signed or marked.
Dimensions: diameter 16.2 cm, height 16.5 cm.
Condition: in good condition with wear consistent with age and use. The inside bottom has quite a few oxidation spots (see photo 7).
