Handmade wood 2024 pen - Inlayed SPACE SHUTTLE and Black Titanium/Titanium Gold Ball-Point Pen in Elegant Sierra Style

~~ SPECIFICATIONS ~~

o ELEGANT SIERRA STYLING. Similar to a MONTEVERDE, GRAF VON FABER-CASTELL, or similarly styled pen in shape, size, weight and function.

o WOOD BODY. The launching SPACE SHUTTLE, with white solid rocket boosters and orange external tank, was inlayed into the light blue stained wood pen body and it was then turned down, coarse sanded, fine sanded up to grit 12,000, polished, sealed within a clear cyano acrylate finish, and both sanded and polished again!

o BLACK TITANIUM / TITANIUM GOLD PARTS. The metal parts, obtained from a manufacturer, were plated in black titanium and titanium gold, extremely durable platings. Precisely fitted to the pen body, these parts perfectly accent the rich appearance of the polished finish.

o TWIST MECHANISM. The ball-point tip of the pen is smoothly extruded by twisting the pen body (or any part above the beautiful decorative band) clockwise and retracted by 2024 twisting in the opposite direction.

o BLACK INK. The pen includes a Parker-style cartridge containing black ink. The widely available ink cartridge is replaced by pulling the pen body away from the tip end of the pen and then unscrewing the cartridge twist mechanism. A gel rollerball cartridge can be used as well.

o DIMENSIONS. The pen is ~5 1/8" long and ~1/2" in diameter (measured at the widest point of the pen body).
