I love the way just minimal amounts of watercolor and little strokes of ink tell the story. It is titled “Bayou Teche” which is a bayou south of Lafayette, Louisiana. The subject caught my eye because I have family south of New Orleans that when we take off to go fishing we pass little houses just like the one in the painting. It 2024 measures 12” by 10” overall and the artwork is 5” by 7” with tan mat and black frame trimmed in gold.
