This listing is for a very old set of boy & girl figurines.
They are unmarked and I have no idea of the maker.
Based on the overall workmanship and the detail plus the fact that my Great Grandmother and Grandmother collected mostly German made porcelain I feel most certain they were manufactured in Germany.
I know they have been in my family since at least the 1920's.
They are in wonderful condition 2024 for their age. There is some minor loss of gold but aside from that I have found no issues.
The painting on this pair are hand done and the colors are muted in shades of peach, mint green, soft yellow and hints of lavender.
Each of the figures hold in their hands what appears to be a doll or a marionette doll.
They are French in design and very detailed.
Each one is 8.5 inches tall and roughly 3 inches wide from elbow to elbow.
